Technology
Go sound!

The dispersion capabilities of traditional speakers, column speakers and planar speakers are not efficient enough at lower frequencies, because they tend to worsen acoustic experience and affect speech intelligibility. The cardioid speakers of IVS product family are made to handle this phenomenon at middle and low frequencies below 1000 Hz.

Two classes
of cardioid speakers

The first-class cardioid speakers beam with full energy to the front, quarter to the sides, and theoritically zero backwards, but tenth at most in real applications.

The second-class cardioid speakers beam with full energy to the front, sixteenth to the sides, and theoritically zero backwards, but sixteenth at most in real applications.

To reverberant environmentse

ColumnLoudspeaker
The IVS hypercardioid line source speaker family is currently one of the most advanced and most effective product range in its category in the world. Due to its special design and characteristic, as well as the patented technical solutions, the IVS line source speaker family provides excellent speech intelligibility even in acoustically challenging spaces (e.g. airports, stadiums, sports facilities, swimming pools, churches, lounges, transportation hubs, or other large volume buildings). IVS plays a fundamental role in the outstanding achievements of our audiovisual systems.

Improves speech intelligibilityt

PlanarSpeaker
Our planar speakers engineered with Interton Cardioid Technology improves speech intelligibility. This technology improves directivity at lower and middle frequencies, thus further lowers intensity of disturbing reflexions from surfaces. The results are excellent speech intelligibility and minimal feedback. Additionally it is effective in large areas, it can achieve 90dB sound pressure even at 100 meters distance.

Excellent addition

SubWoofer
This is a perfect addition to the directional column and planar speakers. The use of directional subwoofers are especially important in echoic spaces to reduce adverse reverberation, and in open environments to minimalize noise pollution.
